Qolora Mouth is one of the Wild Coast's most noted seaside paradises.
Trennery's is situated in a little park-like valley 100m from the sea
and offers a unique opportunity for spending a carefree holiday in surroundings
made perfect by unspoilt nature. Children are particularly welcomed and
especially catered for and they have their own play-room and dining room.
Swimming pool, tennis court, swings, jungle gym and trampoline are in
full view from the main building. A three-rink bowling green is nearby.
We have a "Hit & Giggle" 9 hole Mashie Golf Course which
is very challenging and commands unsurpassed views of our beautiful coastline.
Trennery's is a seaside country hotel and from its situation cannot offer
all the amenities of a first class city establishment. However, it is
delightfully situated, with thatched rondavels and bungalows in a beautiful
tropical garden setting. Rooms are clean and comfortable and all en suite.
The mile long beach is one of the safest and finest on the Wild Coast
providing excellent surfing. The Qolora River winding its picturesque
way down to the ocean and terminating in a magnificent lagoon open to
the sea at high tide, offers boating and smooth water swimming for those
who prefer it. Trennery's, for those who are interested, is noted for
its wonderful variety of wild birds. Qolora Mouth has one of the finest
climates in Southern Africa, usually dry and warm during the winter months.
It is an unrivalled recuperative place for people from up-country altitudes
who wish to participate in the holiday simplicity of bare feet, bathing
and beachwear. A 700m airstrip is 200m from the hotel - you buzz and we
collect!
