The name ILANGA means sunshine in Xhosa, true to its name you will enjoy the same radiant warmth and hospitality from us. ILANGA ESTATE has been created in the response to the need for a stylish venue for corporate functions and romantic weddings, with excellent service.

ILANGA ESTATE is situated to the north of Bloemfontein on a tranquil estate with beautiful gardens and an exquisite ambience.Completely different from any venue you previously visited;   ILANGA ESTATE  holds the promis of making your function an overwhelming success.

The five fully equipped conference venues, chapel and the fifteen guestrooms, have their own distinctive style and character. Ilanga offers high quality and modern convenience to business executives and other guests.


All the venues overlook tranquil gardens.  We can accommodate between 20 - 450 delegates or guests, please note that secure open parking is provided.


An inspiring Herb Garden is there to be enjoyed, in for example your tea break, whilst you attend a conference or function.

We offer full catering facilities and pride ourselves in the quality of our cuisine.  We are fully licensed and offer excellent bar facilities.
