Renate and Gerd, previous owners of Böhmerwald Restaurant, are your hosts at this beautiful venue, which is ideal for Sunday lunches, all types of functions, weddings, lapa braais, day conferences, meal & game drive combinations etc.
The venue is situated in a RCI Gold Crown Resort near Roodeplaat Dam, north of Pretoria and overlooks a spectacular valley with watering holes where game roams.
OTHER FACILITIES Monateng Safari Lodge offers putt-putt, jungle gyms and trampolines that keep the kids entertained and a 70m long super tube will provide hours of fun in the sun (daily rates applicable).
There is a well stocked bar with a pool table next to the restaurant. Game Drives with knowledgeable Field Guides at very competitive prices are also available – advanced bookings are absolutely essential.

Game drives are done in an open vehicle with knowledgeable field guides in a 900ha game farm adjacent to the resort where Giraffe, Zebra, Wildebeest, Kudu, Eland, Njala, Gemsbuck, Waterbuck, Rooihartebees, Impala, Warthog, Ostrich, Jackal etc. freely roam.
A rustic bush camp with a traditional boma and stilted hide-out next to a small dam is a stunning venue for a real bush braai. Such a game drive & bush braai combination is ideal for families, team building exercises, conferences, overseas visitors etc.
