 Oak House is situated in the quaint miners’ town of Cullinan, just North of Pretoria. Surrounded by many natural beauties such as the lovely Jacaranda trees and various historic buildings, Oak House has plenty to offer. Oak House was built in 1904 and has the atmosphere and ambience of the old sandstone building is awe inspiring. Oak House, as it is known today, was the result of a dream to revamp a dreary guesthouse in order to create a venue that well serves the memory of the grand and stylish and beautiful original general manager’s house. In early 2010 this dream was realised when Oak House venue was re-opened and hosted its first wedding, with many other functions that followed. An environment had been produced that was filled with true South African history and promised to be a complete wedding destination.
