The Royal Elephant Hotel & Conference Centre is a passionate and romantic creation – an endeavour that reveals and celebrates the multitude of traditions, history and splendour of the North Africa and Morocco.

The journey commences in the bustling city of Centurion – a nucleus linking the great African business hubs of Johannesburg, Midrand and Pretoria. The Royal Elephant is ideally situated along primary transportation routes, close to three vital airports, and is ideally situated for both business and leisure travellers. And in the manner of the riad’s of Morocco, guests are enveloped by a natural haven of peace and relaxation, along the Hennops River.

The hotel proudly boasts with 40 luxurious rooms, two family suites, an executive and presidential suite. State of the art conference & meeting facilities cater for up to 450 delegates in a supreme and technologically advanced conference centre including the refurbished Bondev House. These guest facilities are served by the exclusive Zagora Grill Room, Wine Cellar, Cigar Lounge, Oasis Residents Bar and the Fezorati Coffee Emporium.

We have gathered inspiration, stories, recipes, furnishings and embellishments that have embodied the essence of Saharan living, hospitality and creativity over the ages. The Royal Elephant has 40 bedrooms with a royal presidential suite. All are individually decorated using traditional Moroccan & North-African furnishings and antiques, as well as characteristic and complementary pieces from distinguished southern African artists and artisans. We brought together artefacts from all over the world, many of which feature in the bedrooms and spacious en-suite washrooms.

Each guest room adds to the secret journey with its uniquely evocative Moroccan name. Amenities, furniture and decoration have all been carefully chosen to enrich your experience, from the ornamental lanterns above the beds, to the spacious, earthy washrooms.
