From Durban:

Get onto the N3 highway heading west towards Pietermaritzburg
After approximately 45 min at the speed limit of 120 kmph you will pass through Pietermaritzburg.
You will go through the following areas:
Hilton
Howick
Lions River
Keep a look out for the Nottingham Rd number 132 signboard and get into the left hand lane and slow right down.
You will enter a hairpin bend and end up facing the way you came.
Turn left and go over the bridge heading on the Curry's Post Rd.
After approximately 200m you will get onto a dirt road.
After 2 km you will see Thatchings Guest House signage on the right hand side.
Drive up to the gate; it will open automatically.

From Johannesburg:

Get onto the N3 highway and head south towards Durban.
When you pass through the Mooi toll plaza, take the first off ramp to the left that is Nottingham Road 132.
Turn left at the stop sign.
After approximately 200m you will get onto a dirt road; the Curry's Post Rd.
After 2 km you will see Thatchings Guest House signage on the right hand side.
Drive up to the gate; it will open automatically.
