Hluhluwe River Lodge overlooks the spectacular St Lucia Wetlands River floodplain and False Bay and is situated on the western shore of Lake St Lucia forming part of the Greater St Lucia Wetland Park, one of Africa's most remarkable World Heritage Sites. The lodge offers 12 luxury thatched chalets set in a magnificent indigenous garden, all built on stilts with modern air-conditioners, mosquito nets, mini-bars, guest amenities and a private viewing deck. The main lodge incorporates a lounge library, bar, dining room, secluded swimming pool and curio shop. A variety of professionally guided excursions into the St Lucia Wetlands area are available.
