Hannah Game Lodge, “ A Gift From God “ is a reflection of the Africa that God created in its entire natural splendour. Here in the heart of the African bushveld our guests experience a rare sense of freedom and renewed spiritual inspiration.
Hannah Game Lodge lies amongst the gently rolling hills of the Southern African escarpment. This beautiful private game reserve embraces more than 8000 hectares of malaria free, unspoiled African bushveld.
Hannah Game Lodge is a captivating tapestry of African sounds, smells and colours, where the rising sun showers the valley with shades of pink, red and orange.
The reserve has since 1996, with careful attention to detail, and particular attention to the requirements of our guests in mind, developed into a 4 star luxury game lodge with 56 standard en suite chalets as well as 4 luxury and 4 ultra luxury suites. Other facilities that were developed over the years were a conference facility, open air boma’s, swimming pool, restaurant and various other open air venues where we can now offer so much more to our guests.
The 8000 hectares of this bushveld paradise abounds with plains, hills and mountains accommodating diverse habitats of plant, animal and birdlife. Apart from Rhino, Buffalo and Leopard some 17 species of antelope can be seen, including the very rare Sable Antelope, Tsesebe, Oryx, Mountain Reedbuck, Springbok and Eland to name but a few.
Morning and afternoon game drives provide ample opportunities for nature lovers, birdwatchers and photographers alike. Other species seen on the reserve include Giraffe, Zebra, Ostrich, Caracal, Serval and Brown Hyena as well as many other species of nocturnal animals.
Hannah Game Lodge also has a Sable breeding project and this allows guests the opportunity to view this magnificent antelope from up close. There are an estimated 250 species of birdlife found on the Reserve, and on a good day, one could even witness the ever Graceful Secretary Bird stalking its prey in the grass.
Activities like a Golf driving range for adults, TV and games room for the kids and a large outdoor activity gym is available, or enjoy a round or two of Putt-Putt with the family before dinner, and for the health conscious work up a sweat in our cozy gym or cool down at the pool.
