Buhala is an ideal base, inside the Kruger Park, for undertaking game drives and listening to the sounds of the wild at night, where the ancient drama of Africa unfolds.

Overlooking the Crocodile River where hippos and crocodiles look on lazily as game of many species from the Kruger Park come down for a drink, lies Buhala Country House. Buhala is an ideal base for undertaking game drives, or for guided safaris which can be arranged either in open vehicles or in a Combi.

Activities with a ranger/guide include birdwatching trails, horse riding, clay pigeon shooting, California bass and tiger fishing and walks IN the Kruger Park, as well as safaris and night drives, with the option of a bushveld barbeque or candle lit dinner. Visit a rhino ranch, cultural village, crocodile farm or try your hand at gold panning. The nearby country club offers a good golf course, (LEOPARD CREEK GOLF COURSE is open to our guests!), and tennis courts, not to mention the wealth of Mpumalanga attractions you can visit during your stay at Buhala. God's Window, Pilgrim's Rest, Bourkes Luck Potholes and many breath-taking waterfalls make for an easy day's round trip, while Swaziland and Mozambique's Maputo are only two hours drive away - you will however need your passports and visas for this.
