Whilst the Lodge is designed to blend in with the beauty of the surrounding wilderness, luxury comfort is not compromised. The complex is thatched, with the bush and thorn trees creating a natural untamed garden and the paths to the individual chalets somewhat obscured. Richly finished, with exclusive linens, each comfortable chalet comprises a bedroom with two beds, dressing area and en suite bathroom. Private entrances and verandas ensure that each chalet remains completely independant. The clubhouse is the central meeting point and the heart of Sable Lodge. A wooded deck veranda, with views of the Waterberg and the vast plains of bush, surrounds the lounge, and a pub with an open counter towards the lapa is situated next to the dining room. The kitchen is fully equipped for the preparation and storage of foods and drinks and a laundry is available, should the need arise. The lodge may also serve full meals to those who do not wish to self-cater. The lapa and splash pool are special features, intimate with a romantic and peaceful atmosphere and ideal when it comes to cooling off during the long, lazy summer days.
