Take the NI (north) to Polokwane. Exit at the second turnoff (R516) to Bela Bela, formerly known as Warmbaths. Go straight through Warmbaths on the R516 and travel for +- 60 kilometres to the second turn on the right to Rooiberg. (Ignore the first sign you see for Rooiberg as this takes you up a dirt road which is not recommended.) Once you have turned off the R516 it is +- 20 kilometres to Rooiberg.

Go though Hartebeesport to Brits. Once through Brits travel for +- 1 hour on the R511 until you find the right turn (R516) to Bela Bela. Travel along this road for 20 kilometres then turn left at the first sign you see for Rooiberg.) Once you have turned off the R516 it is +- 20 kilometres to Rooiberg.
