About La Montagne Guest Lodge and Conference Centre in Hartbeespoort, North West Province
 The guest lodge and conference centre is situated on the south side of Hartbeespoort Dam overlooking Pecanwood Estate with breath-taking views of the Magalies Mountain range and Hartbeespoort Dam. Nestled in the Cradle of Humankind, the lodge is within 25 minutes of archaeological sites, glass making factory, art galleries, elephant sanctuary, cheese factory and many more areas of interest. For the more adventurous there is hot air ballooning, rides in the cable car, river rafting and more. There are an abundance of country restaurants some of which have live entertainment. For the more franchise inclined food lovers there are steakhouses and fast food outlets within 15 minutes travelling distance. African craft stalls and shopping facilities are within easy reach. The lodge has been designed to fit in with the natural surroundings and has been decorated with artifacts from all over Africa. Finishings have been handcrafted from Rose wood and Rhodesian teak. After a long day in the conference centre join us at the bar which hosts a good selection of red and white wine as well as spirits, beers and soft drinks. Rooms and tents all have en-suite bathrooms. The guest lounge is equipped with a fireplace, surround sound, TV and a good selection of music DVD's.
