Founded in 1859 the Tulbagh Hotel, offering 4 star Accommodation in Tulbagh is centrally located, walking distance from all Tulbagh amenities. The Tulbagh Hotel offers a spacious but cosy dining area and lounge bar. Large open fires to take the edge off cold Tulbagh winter evenings. Al fresco dining for those balmy summer evenings, on the patio under the shade of the White Karee tree, or in the tranquil courtyard.

December 2010 saw the opening of our swimming pool, which is a welcome addition to help keep our guests 'cool' in the South African sun.

For the adventurous, Tulbagh offers mountain biking, available from the Tulbagh Hotel, hiking, horse riding and golf. For the more leisurely minded there are wine cellar tours and tastings, chocolate and cheese tasting, museums, art galleries and the Saronsberg Theatre.

The Tulbagh Hotel is the prefect place to stay in terms of accommodation in the Tulbagh Valley - all rooms have been recently refurbished with tastefully styled décor and furnishings.
