About Grootbos Private Nature Reserve Conference Venue in Gansbaai, Western Cape
 Grootbos Private Nature Reserve comprises two luxury lodges in close proximity to each other. Garden Lodge being the classic Lodge set in lush gardens with magnificent views and the new Forest lodge which offers the perfect venue for conferencing. We specialize in conference groups from 10-60 delegates and are not open to non-resident guests. The tranquil environment away from the hectic city lends itself to a creative and productive getaway. The 1700-hectare reserve is situated on the hills overlooking Walker Bay with breathtaking views of the Atlantic Ocean and the distant Cape of Good Hope. Delegates are provided with luxury accommodation. All rooms have twin beds, duvets and cotton linen. The sounds of nature rejuvenate the body and soul for the day that lies ahead. With a staff compliment of 110, Grootbos is a flexible and private venue with a standard of service that will exceed your expectations. All meals are prepared by our Master chefs and served in our magnificent restaurant that overlooks Walker Bay. With dinner we offer only the best of Cape wines in a social atmosphere, while our comprehensive bar and lounge provide for a congenial environment to relax and socialise after a day of conferencing. We are able to offer the exclusive use of Grootbos lodge for the duration of a conference. This allows us to develop a flexible itinerary and opens all facilities exclusively to the group. These include the swimming pool, bar, library, information and conference centre and all the reserve’s facilities.
