Directions from CAPE TOWN via N1 Highway:
Take the N1 northbound towards Paarl
Take the Exit 39 towards Stellenbosch (the exit after the Engen One Stop)
Turn right from the exit onto the R304 towards Stellenbosch
Drive for about 15km until you get to Adam Tas Street (also known as R44) where you turn left
Immediately after this turn off, the Helshoogte Pass (R310) will be on your right.
Turn right into Helshoogte and drive for approximately 7km.
The entrance to Clouds Estate will be on your right.
Directions from N2 and AIRPORT:
1) From Cape Town, come along N2 to Somerset West
2) Take the Baden Powell off-ramp (R310)
3) Continue straight on R310 (past Spier) into Stellenbosch
4) Continue along same road through Stellenbosch (along railway line on left)
5) Drive until you get to Bird Street (a traffic light at a busy intersection, “Eikestad” Mercedes dealer on right)
6) Cross over Bird Street traffic light (Friendly Grocer/Seven Eleven on your left)
7) At first traffic light, turn right (R310 to Ida's Valley & Franschhoek) This is the Helshoogte Road
8) Drive past Ida's Valley (on the left), and “Spar” Centre (on the right). Continue for approximately 6km
9) For quite a long stretch there is nothing on either side of the road except mountains and veldt
10) First place on right is Delaire Estate and Tokara Restaurant (on the left)
11) Drive about 200m after Delaire and Tokara, Clouds Estate on the right opposite Alluvia & Glen Arum (green signboard with light)
12) At the gate, press the intercom to Reception
