From the direction of Cape Town on the N2
• Take the Helderberg off ramp that reads (R44 –
BROADWAY BLVD – STELLENBOSCH), turning left onto
the R44 in the direction of STELLENBOSCH. (Do not
take the R310 – Stellenbosch)
• Pass the Lord Charles Hotel, after approximately 4-5
km, turn left into WINERY ROAD (the sign also
indicates MACASSAR / FIRGROVE).
• 600m along Winery Road turn right onto RAITHBY
ROAD.
• 1km along Raithby Road turn, (at the L’Auberge
Restaurant) turn right onto the RAITHBY-ANNANDALE
ROAD,
• follow this road for about 1.6 km until you get to
the Klein Welmoed entrance.
From Cape Town on the N1, direction Paarl
• After passing the 1-Stop petrol station, take the
STELLENBOSCH (R304) off-ramp and turn right at the
T-Junction.
• Continue on this road until you reach Stellenbosch.
Turn right at the traffic lights into ADAM TAS (this
becomes the R44).
• Continue on this road, through Stellenbosch in the
direction of the Strand.
• After passing Eikendal (on your left), turn RIGHT
into WINERY Road, also marked as
FIRGROVE/MACASSAR (M6)
• 600m along Winery Road turn right onto RAITHBY
ROAD.
• 1km along Raithby Road turn, (at the L’Auberge
Restaurant) turn right onto the RAITHBY-ANNANDALE
ROAD,
• Follow this road for about 1.6 km until you get to
the Klein Welmoed entrance
