Accommodation at Carryblaire River Retreat Conference Venue in Parys, Free State
 Carryblaire offers catered accommodation with either dinner and breakfast included or just breakfast included. We have 11 double rooms and can sleep 24 people on a sharing basis. Our rooms do not offer any self catering apart from a fridge and tea and coffee facilities. The following choice of rooms are offered: Lodge Rooms - Water Reflections & Trees of AfricaHoused in the Main Lodge and inspired by pictures taken on our honeymoon over the majestic Zambezi River... These rooms do not have private VerandahsAfrican Sunsets Is there anything more glorious than the sun setting over our magnificent country? Enjoy the view from your own personal verandah, and watch as the river takes on the colours of the skies... African Sunsets is housed in the main lodge and is ideally suited for 2 adults and 2 children. We however only allow children over the age of 12The Croft & Waters Edge Nestled on the banks of the river, they offer a real chance to be close to nature...VeldFlower, Serenity & Rocky Ridge Sit on the deck, and feel as though you are in the middle of the bush, with birds calling all around you, or listen and watch the mighty Vaal continue its journey through Africa...African Skies, River View & Swallows Nest If a view is what you looking for then these 3 rooms are for you. They all have beautiful views over the garden and up river. With vistas of the Vaal that inspire, these cottage style rooms offer time and space for reflection...All our bedrooms are decoratively inspired by elements from African nature. They have thatched roofs and mosquito nets and are scattered with antique pieces collected from Parys... All rooms have tea & coffee facilities and fridges and are fitted with fans and for the winter months with electric heaters and electric blankets... Rooms can be made up as either King Size or two single beds and have full en-suite bathrooms... Carryblaire River Retreat is graded by Tourism Grading Council as a 4 star Country House and therefore does not have any self catering facilities... Catering is included in our rates with options of dinner and breakfast or just breakfast included. Please see our rates page for current rates. Meals consist of healthy and wholesome farm style cooking, served in the dining room at the main lodge with stunning views overlooking the river. We serve a set menu 3 course dinner in the evenings (please let us have any dietary requirements) and for breakfast a full English accompanied with cereals, yogurt, fruit, juice and tea/coffee.
